Laura Sirikul is a freelance writer, researcher, and managing editor of The Nerds of Color. She has written for Elle Magazine, Variety, Empire Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Timid Magazine, Nerd Reactor, What To Watch, Inverse, The Daily Beast, Primetimer, Nerdist, IGN, Den of Geek, NBC News, Movie View Magazine, Red Carpet Report, The Hollywood Reporter, and many other outlets. She has appeared as a critic on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour and BBC World News. She is also a member of the Asian American Journalists Association, Critics Choice Association, Television Critics Association, GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, and the BTS ARMY. 

Apart from addressing topics covering film and television, Laura is a strong advocate for social and political awareness for the underrepresented in the entertainment industry, especially for those in the Asian American community.
